This one's a no-brainer with the price of gas these days  Roll Eyes

Besides saving money, I've found that riding the bus every day saves me the aggravation of dealing with SF Bay-area traffic, and gives me a chance to unwind and listen to some music or catch up on my reading.

Google set up a resource center for planning trips via public transit: http://www.google.com/transit It's not available everywhere, but it's a starting point and is great for ideas!

If municipal public-transit isn't an option, you might be able to find a local slug line or a neighbor willing to carpool.

Using public transportation has been great for putting me in the "renewable wealth" mindset because it reminds me almost every day to do what I can to sustain the planet, and my wallet!
